Changing the empler (I485J)
Hello! Hope you all doing well. I have a few questions about changing employers:
1. Can we switch from a large company to a smaller one in the same industry and position? For instance, my current job is in landscaping at a company with around 80 employees, and I'm considering moving to a newly established landscaping business with 3-4 employees that offers a better package.
2. When changing employers, do I need to file an I-485J with USCIS simultaneously, or can I obtain the I-485 from the new employer and submit it when I have an interview or receive an RFE, what’s the law ?

More than 180 days after I140 approved and I485 been pending more than 180 days. that’s requirement. Than you can file I485J with new employer to change your job

Not the job but workplace. You don’t have to file new I485
