changing conditional green card to permanent i-751
Could anyone confirm when one can fine for I-751 to change their conditional green card to permanent. USCI website says I can files 3 months prior to my expiration date on my green card, but I've heard from the interviewer when I got my green card first that I can file 6 months prior to my expiration. these are two conflicting information. Can someone confirm whether I can file for changing my conditional status on my green card 6 month before expiration of my current green card please.

file I 751 form 90 days ( 3 months ) before your green card expires , if you file before that 90 days, they will reject your application. It happens to me

Thank you for confirming. Not sure why the green card interviewer told me that we can file before 6month from expiration.

DO NOT submit your application prior to 90 days, they will reject it. the rule is 3 years minus 90 days. I submitted mine with 86 days left so as to make sure it would not be rejected

no one would ever tell you to file 6 month prior to the expiration of your conditional green card. you will waste your fee, documents and time..

90 days prior is the rule so far…

Is it really true that USCIS extended expiration for another 48 months from the original date of expiration? This is stated on the top in official website.
