Hello! My priority date is April 7, 2023. My husband became a U.S. citizen on November 22, 2024, and submitted his naturalization certificate to USCIS that same day. However, they still haven't approved the case or updated the category change. We have called USCIS multiple times, and they just keep telling us to wait 4 weeks, but nothing happens. When we call back, they tell us the exact same thing. We have been waiting for a year and 6 months now, and still nothing. What do you recommend we do?

@Luz Rodriguez same here pd july 2023 husband citizen may 16,2025 18 may upgraded still waiting. which is yr field office.

call Congress I did and my case was open recently and I received an email from USCIS say within 90 days I should do my interview and if not I should call them.

@shenni law all tried this and so many people's after me got approval but some cases stuck

@Disha Patel In my case, they haven't made the change yet. My office is Texas.

@Luz Rodriguez yes my pd is April 10 2023, two days ago I have my first update and it's all because I contacted Congress. they even sent me an email saying within 90 days I should have a scheduled interview if not I should call and let them know.

They upgraded our case only at the time of our interview.
