Change of status from resident to us citizen
Hi
I was originally a resident when I started the I-130 petition for my husband. Now I’m a us citizen and uscis updated my status 1/23/24. Did anyone had the same situation? and how long did they take to approve it after the update.

@Mellica G we uploaded my certificate on the uscis account. but you have to make sure they make the change so you have to keep calling them. I became a us citizen October 2023 and they updated the status January 2024. I just didn’t know I had to call them🤦🏻♀️ so I think that’s why it took so long. I heard you can also send them a letter saying that you want to update your case status including your receipt number and all your info and also send them a copy of your certificate.
