change of employer
I changed my employer and my I-485 Supplemental J was filed almost 8 months ago. There have been no updates whatsoever. Is that normal? Shouldn’t I get a receipt notice or something?
I checked with my lawyer, and they said they haven’t heard anything but did send an inquiry.
My I-485 will be current in Feb 2026.
I did apply for EAD extension after I changed my employer. It was approved and I received the EAD too.

my case is about to be current in February as well and I’m filing for i485J now since I changed employer I would like to know if you have any updates as well.
