Change of address
Hello,
I moved to a different state after working for my employer for more than a year. I have talked to my employer and they are willing to keep my employment active so that If i get an interview notice, i could go back and work for them.
However, I do have one question, Since I have moved to a different state now, Can I do a skilled job? If i do a skilled job here in a different state while my employment is active in another state will that create any problem?

if you intend to go back and work in just in case situation while working skilled job in different state what have you thought about address change ? cuz the address change will certainly raise a flag in my opinion

I think it might trigger the immigration that you don’t intend to work for your sponsor after your approval. they might ask on the interview how come your job offer is in a state and you moved to another ? I’ve moved to another state as well and I have to find another employer

also if they sent you an interview notice you won’t have enough time to move back and generate enough pays stubs. plus you will have to change your address again. honestly, I wouldn’t risk it. after you get your green card you will have plenty of skilled opportunities.

what if I haven’t changed my address? my address is still in the same location where I was residing while working for my sponsor..
