Being your married and already in the us your on the bottom of priority list. there lots of US citizens with there spouse stuck overseas. and not to mention work permit renewals flooding the service center. from what I see they are working on Dec 2021 - Jan 2022 submissions . be prepared to wait 12+ months

It says that the processing of my case is in 10.5 months but from what I see the other people are taking longer and that we are immediate category

when I first looked at processing times when I stated this process at the beginning of last year it was 5 - 7 months. then about 5 months in around June 2022 it changed to 10.5 months. right now I’ve been waiting over 11 months 12 on the 9th in February. so hopefully Nebraska actually starts doing something other than work renewal maybe yours could be more fortunate than ours, but I’m regretting being at Nebraska.

What I don't understand is that they say that Nebraska is one of the fastest processing centers there is, but in my case when everything started I received the receipt and the letter to create the account quickly and after a few days the status changed to case being actively reviewed by uscis and that's all. I have been in the same state for more than a month and nothing is approved

mine has said actively reviewing since June 23, 2022 estimated process now 4 weeks so still takes a long time
