Cases in National Benefits Center ?
Hello everyone! is there anybody else that has their case in NBC? How are their processing times? What is the accurate filing date they’re working on? They waved my biometrics because I already had another process with them, I have SSN and work authorization. I saw a video of a girl that was approved in a month!!! that’s insane how fast some of them were approved so fast and I see many of you guys waiting for so long! I hope we all get an approved notification soon!

I honestly don’t know,my case is at the NBC and I haven’t even gotten my SSN or work authorization since March. A friend applied in July and already received hers. When I chatted with an agent through Emma,they said my interview was waived and nothing is outstanding on my case yet I am not making any head way.

@Lilian A I have SSN and work authorization from my other process not this one, I didn’t apply for them again since I already had them, but what you say is crazy because most of the people that has applied this year got their SSN and work authorization right after biometrics 😢

@Odeth T I just found this: The National Benefits Center (NBC) is currently working on cases received from USCIS on June 5, 2024. The NBC is analyzing the basis of Form I-485, which is filed for employment-based or family-based reasons.

@Aileen Gonzalez,it is really disheartening 😭. I keep checking my account, around May it was 1 week to decision and after 2 weeks it changed to 3 months since that may. my progress is still 3 months till now, I am so stressed and sad 😔

@Lala z Same here! but they are working on Aug-Sept 23 cases at the moment so we will be there soon! 👍

NBC working on Aug-Sept 2023 cases at the moment. Before Christmas they planned to finish last year cases! Good Luck everyone!

they start at NBC and go to a field office. you’re 42 days in. I wanted 12x that (480 days). gotta just hang on and wait :)

@Aileen Gonzalez ,I honestly want to expedite to at least help my husband with bills but I don’t have any evidence to upload for expedited request. I don’t know what I can use because at this point it is disheartening 😪

@Aileen Gonzalez my case was received yesterday n May 24, 2024 but I got my work permit and SSN so I guess that it because I did my medical and I haven’t heard anything else since

@Aileen Gonzalez it just depends how fast your case moves to a field office. once it moves it SHOULD be a few months. but never know. mine moved at 12.5 months in then took another 3.5 months.

@Odeth T that is the last step! there’s when an agent reviews your case last time and decides to request more evidence, schedule an interview or just approve it!😊
