Larry, my case was not straightforward either and I was a nervous wreck! The night before my interview, I simply told God to give me the strength to accept His will. You’re in my prayers!

Duranovitch, if they have applied the fingerprints - Go on EMMA (USCIS live chat) type “live agent” and click on “case status”. - Follow the remaining prompts and when you are connected with an agent, tell them you would like to expedite your 765. - ONLY provide the receipt number for I-765 - do not provide receipt numbers for any other case. - Your reason for expediting will most likely be based on financial loss so you need to have evidence of that. I provided an offer letter as well as student loan balance. If you don’t have an offer letter, provide any bills/bank statements to show financial loss.

Sure, Spouse and I arrived over an hour early and we were called in on time. The interviewer then asked us to take an oath. Only question asked was how we met which turned into a conversation. It honestly did not feel like an interview-felt like catching up with an old friend. We handed over the updated medical and that was it. I should point out that we were informed that because our cases were digitalized, issues navigating the system resulted in an online approval 5 days later. We were verbally approved on the spot. Great field office!
