I actually think this happened to mine because my progress just jumped back to 13 months and my case was at Charlotte from May 30th. sometime Emma is full of shit and sometime she tells the truth. but yes that can very well happen and you have to wait for nbc to approve. SUPER ANNOYING because they should just approve it at Charlotte. sigh. but no you should not be worried. best of luck!!! @Hope . also what does your myProgress show on the 130 right now?

@Hope . my 130 just shot back up from 6 months to 13 months last week (which makes me think it went back to NBC and is a “new” case which is taking 13 months?? ). my 485 is and has been at 3 months since I got that functionality a few weeks ago. it’s absolute bullshit considering the 130 needs to be approved before. how can they be that far off? your case gives me hope that my case is not alone though. I tried to get through to Emma today and it’s always down. 😕

@Hope . I was told a long time ago my interview was waived but didn’t ask the last time I talked to Emma. I have 2 kids with my husband. not sure why they would call me for an interview unless they think I’m a Russian spy.

These timelines seem inconsistent and unreliable, which has led me to disregard them altogether. You are not alone in this frustration; I have been waiting for almost 15 months myself. I sincerely hope that we receive our approvals this month. If you wish to speak with an agent via the Emma chat system, you may need to persistently type "live chat" even if you receive a message indicating the system is down. This method has worked for me to consistently connect with a live agent.

@Hope . lol I give up after 3 tries every time. their systems are absolutely garbage. I do wonder how they detect real threats to America with their antiquated technology. like if you’re working off of pieces of paper… you’re not catching the bad guys lol. and yes @Sureberry R I think that you’re right. my dates counted down every month two times from 6 months to taking longer than expected and then since I got my AP and my case was transferred it’s changed about 6 times. hoping it’s soon and wishing everyone a speedy approval because this sh*t is awful.

a decision has been made. all cases go from nbc to fo and then to nbc once a decision has been made.

@Hope gotcha. hopefully a service request makes them look at your case but I wouldn’t hold my breath lol. nothing changed over here. my progress went down to 3 weeks from 3 months on my 485 but I don’t put much weight on that.

hey… if no status changed to “active review” my guess is it was related to a transfer. sometimes your case is opened and it does that but not always. I would ask another Emma today if there’s an update. any action is good in my opinion! I hope you’re close ❤️@Hope. .

@Hope. . ahh! well… at least the end could be near. I know I’m nervous I’m getting one too for my 485 even though Emma has told me 100x it’s waived and I have a 130. I had a few weird things at the border years ago (errors USCIS made stamping my passport) and I keep wondering if that’s what they’re looking at? I don’t know. I’m digging deep in my memory archives lol. it’s not healthy.

I’ve been married for a month before I filed.. April 2023 😂 we have been together for 9.5 years and have 2 kids though so obviously a real marriage. I have all the receipts. I’ve talked to so many people that have had interviews and I really think you’ve got nothing to worry about.

I really hope so too. She asked me for my address, my college major, whether I had met my husband's family, and which car we drive. She was pretty nice and it was so short. Before I left, she told me to upload some recent photos with my husband and his family and a send her another picture of my lease. She said that if I do that, she’s going to approve me. so I just cross my fingers

Following that, I received emails regarding actions taken on both my I-130 and I-485 cases. However, when I logged in to check, I couldn't find any updates. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

@Hope. . it might be nothing. ask Emma tomorrow and see if there was updates. when I got updates it took 24 hours for anything to show up. I was approved sept 10th but still check in :)

@Hope. . I got an email saying active review yes but it didn’t show up as approved until the next day. sometimes there is action and the only thing that happens is that they transfer offices. or just no approval yet. no way to know until a few days later sometimes.
