Emma agents give random info most of the time

@P G Emma agents are very well-known to give inconsistent and some times confusing information. So the agent said May 16 was when USCIS first received your application or that was when the FO received your application?

@Selith H May 16 is when FO received the application. USCIS had received the application on Dec 23, 2022

@P G Oh I see. Its amzing how they can be giving us conflicting information everytime. Well, I guess the good thing is they both confirmed that it is at the FO.

@Selith H Ikr but do you have any idea how long a FO takes to make the decision??

@P G It is difficult to tell as it may depend on the workload at the field office. Some people get a decision within 2 months after transfer to the field office while some others wait more than that. We just have to hope for the best. Did you submit your medical with the application?

@P G My latest update is that Icompleted biometrics yesterday and case updated today to “Case Remains Pending”

@M M Applicants with late biometrics are getting their case approved within a month or less. Hopefully you get yours approved soon as well.

@M M We are on the same boat. I received an update “Case remains pending” today. Does this mean we have to wait atleast till October??

@P G Probably. With the huge regression today from the Visa Bulletin in the Final Action Date, it is unlikely that we’ll see an approval until the new Fiscal Year. Hopefully we’re first in line. What is your PD?

@M M Its very frustrating. IDK how they are gonna catch up with 3 year’s backlog in new FY. MY PD is March 4, 2022.
