Case transferred to Non-Local FO
Hi there, today I was told by Emma that my case was transferred to a non-local field office. Is this a good sign? Can anyone that experienced the same share how long did it took for their case to be approved after it was transferred to a non local FO?

@C K @Jorge Alberto I was told the same a bunch of times. Just keep trying contacting a live agent through Emma once a week. The question was: “I would like to know if my case was transferred from National Benefit Center to a non local field office”

@D E 2 weeks after it was transferred to a non-local FO. I had submitted medicals as well so no RFE. Looks like steady progress, my receipt date was Feb 7 so fingers crossed for you!

@D E I have same question. Mine was transferred to a non local field office and the status says “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.” Will the non local field office schedule me for interview?

mine is also Eb1A with a receipt date of Jan 10 2024, on May 24 it was transferred from NBC to non local field office. no update since.

My case was transferred to non local field office on June 5 and I got 485 approval on June 28. Eb1B

generally when cases are moved to non local FO’s it means you will have an interview waiver and case will proceed accordingly. however, they can still move your case to a local FO if they determine an interview is required.

my eb1c case also moved to a Non-local FO 10 days ago. hopefully i’m lucky as you were.
what was your fo? mine is Buffalo, NY.
