Case Transferred
Hi, hopefully someone can answer this for me. My lawyer filed my I-485 with I-765 & I-131 at the Nebraska office in August and today my status updated to “Case Transferred” but only on the I-485 tab, does this mean everything has been transferred or just the adjustment of status. This is off a pending VAWA from January 2023. Thanks

hi, I filed them in August and recently 360 and 485 got transferred. I am not sure if 131 and 765 will be transferred as well. I don’t think transferring means getting approval soon though.

@ skylar What also has me confused is my I-360 has always been in Vermont so unless if they’re sending everything there now 😳

Vawa applicants needed to send petitions to Vermont in the past and at some point this year, Uscis changed it to Nebraska. I think they transfers it to Vermont after receiving it in Nebraska.

@I Love you Lord - thank you, this process is so frustrating how are people supposed to survive without at least an EAD . At this rate it seems like I will probably have to wait a year to get one. I can only pray 🙏🏽 for mercy.
