Case transferred - not notified
I was notified back in December that my case was transferred from the Texas Center to a field office in Missouri.
Randomly decided to ask Emma today for an update. Spoke with a live agent who told me my
case is now at Long Island, NY.
I wasn’t notified of any transfer to NY. Has this happened to anyone else? I am worried the information is inaccurate.
I’d like to be able to check processing times which is why I wanted to know where it’s being processed.

they're doing this to get through NBC backlog. mine got moved to non local FO too but without emma wouldn't know, think I'd have preferred not to know

You won’t get any notice/ notification when your file gets transferred to field office(local or non local).

I guess it makes me feel better that it’s common practice. Also looks like the field office has quicker processing times so fingers crossed.
