@Pritesh Jain, thanks for sharing this details.
I submitted mine in March 2024 with pending I-140 filed in Sept 2023. I heard nothing from USCIS about my I-485 until last week (2 weeks after I-140 was approved). Then sent an RFIE for birth certificate. Just wondering why it is coming this late when they should be finalizing. Does USCIS process (at least documentarily) I-485 filed with pending I-140 or they wait till the petition is approved?

@Rijo Rijo thanks for sharing your detailed as well. I have no clue how this works. hoping both our GC will be approved soon. do you have case transfer?
Rijo RijoAug 29, 2024
@Pritesh Jain, not sure. All I know is that my RFIE did not come from Missouri.....where the receipt notice came from.

@Pritesh Jain what was the birth certificate RFE specifically about ? And how did you respond to it? given that you mention you already had submitted the birth certificate
Pritesh JainAug 29, 2024
@a k I provided secondary evidence like school leaving certificate, college leaving certificate, marksheets, affidavit from parents.

EB1 exhausted so let's see what they do

@Charlie SC let’s hope for the best

@Pritesh Jain affidavits are good secondary evidence. marksheets etc generally have only date of birth and not the city of birth.
