Case status changed to CRP but PD/FAD is current
what could be the likely cause of this status change and when can I expect an update on this? is there anything I could do?

what was previous status of your case ? try asking Emma about field office or when officer worked on this case last.
when did you submit you eb1 i485 ? what's your pri date and country?

Previous status was RFE response received on 17-Jan-2025. My priority date = 30-Apr-2020 (current), Country = India, Category = EB1C. I-485 filed on 23-Jul-2024.

No, I haven't tried anything. Is there something I can do? I have reached out to my attorney though. Waiting for an answer.

@saurabh gupta did you submit 485J? do you see any correlation between the approval of that and CRP status.

Yes, I have received notice for I485J approval as well

No, I received it long back along with I-140 approval. I think sometime in September 2024.

hi @saurabh gupta as per my understanding , CRP means " Case Ready to Produce" and you will receive your GC soon.
I have similar case as yours. I had submitted my 485 in Dec 2024. what was your RFE about? have you done concurrent filing?

@lk s - status says Case Remains Pending. RFE was about the medical which I responded

looks your case is documentarily complete and waiting for GC number. Even though pri date is current, only 100-200 approvals are being made every month due to continuous influx of applications with earlier pri date.
I am in similar boat and we have to wait for family and ROW spillover. Given regime change, we can expect more numbers available for eb1 as well as more scrutiny on eb1 filing going forward.

@alterego g - My I-485J was approved yesterday. I misunderstood it with the receipt notice that I received back in October-2024.

@alterego g - priority date on I485 receipt notice is 10 Apr 2020. it was ported from EB2 application. Also, my I485J got approved in Jan 23rd.

@alterego g - I have received all the RFEs (since october) from San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. I think that's the field office where the case was transferred to.

@alterego g - EB1 I140 does not have the ported date even though I-485 has correct priority date.. I have raised a query with the attorney. waiting for their answer.
