hello I just received my NVC welcome letter this morning. I use visa journey website as a reference of trying to figure the interview process out and from what I’ve read it can take from 4-8 months to receive an interview after NVC approval of documents. best wishes on the continuation of your process 🤞🏽🎉

I waited 3 weeks 3 days for my welcome letter im also a USC spouse is also in Dominican Republic, I just submitted payments waiting to upload documents. From my understanding Dominican Republic is taking about 6-8 months after nvc approves documents and fees to schedule an appointment.

Update: I have received my welcome letter today! I will proceed now with payment in order to submit documents. Thank you for your response @Fei B and @Our Journey <3 I hope we all go through this as quick as possible.

My husband’s case was sent to the NVC on October 16, 2022 and he became documentarily qualified on January 25, 2023. We are still waiting for the interview date in Ciudad Juarez
