case remains pending
my case status changed to case remains pending but my priority date is curre as of 8/1/23, what is this mean and when should I expect approval?

could be anything from no visa available now to rfe to be approved soon

in my case (also have CRP since Feb, 2023) they made a mistake and put my filing date as my priority date => I am not current by their records, while I actually am. (still waiting for them to fix it). 🤷 no sign of approval yet in my case. Hope yours will be faster.

@BC G just had a gut feeling. reached out to the Emma agent (real person, I mean) and asked which PD did they see in the system - and it was a filing date, not the actual PD :( . So I've sent a letter with request of correction (just a free text, so i was told. not any special form) to my local FO... It was 1.5 months ago - still waiting for them to react on it.( but something tells me that my "wrong" PD will become current before they actually fix the mistake:(
