Case Processing Times
From November 1st case processing times are going to be based on 6 months worth of data rather than the past month. Given the last six months have been terrible, that May explain why the averages went up last month, and should improve month over month.

I would have said the transfer in power would have delayed the process, change in power / direction, as well as COVID.

yeah... that's what I just realized when doing some research. one of the factors of the backlog was due to some immigration changes. USCIS have new Management. But in my opinion they should have let people know about it.

But I saw that new application biometric application are getting processed so quickly.

What do you mean new biometrics?

@CG P7, my application was received on July 02 and my biometric was reused and applied on July 14, I think this process is quick.

agreed, which I thought would make a difference, but made no difference, Feb 4th 2021, I485 Bio’s applied March 21 - still waiting.

it makes sense now why the processing times was increased in Nov.

I think so, on that same basis you would expect the worse months which I would have said would be the earlier months / May, June etc. to drop off - hopefully….. and processing times / averages improve.
