Case Processing
So I periodically check on my case on the USCIS and under “my process” there was a countdown to how many months until case decision. Just a few days ago I was at 4 months and I happened to check today and realized it now says “ case is taking longer than expected” it saddens me to hear that now I don’t know how long it will take. I hope to hear from anyone with a similar experience. Did you happen to get any news right away or did it actually take longer than expected?

my I-130 was 1week then it changed to 7month . only thing got approved was my work permit that was showing 7month for decision . listen Mon don’t pay attention to those processing they aren’t accurate .

so I check mine all the time too probably too much but went from 3 weeks to yours is taking longer than expected so yeah I was upset too so reading that they aren't accurate made me feel better hopefully it actually happens and it's not the opposite direction and takes longer

I must agree it’s not accurate after all. I guess it was just wishful thinking but I will not let go of my hope. Thank you all very the support and reassurance, it’s definitely comforting and needed during this process.
