case paused
is it normal for current cased being paused for visa not available? My case was in non local field office of west palm beach and RFE was asked and send it around 90 days ago. Today got response that my case is being paused saying visa number is not available for me? I am from nepal and Lc filed on August 10 2021 and i485 filed on april 13 2022.

people from different countries are still getting approved. I think your country has reached the annual cap 7% that’s why your case is paused. just wait for upcoming October when the annual limit will reset and they will issue you the GC.

I think we all have to wait for visa numbers to be assigned for us. Even if we’re all current now.

Because the visa cutoff date is April 1 2022 for Nepal
They are issuing GC only for those who filed I485 before April 1 2022.
My i485 was filed May 31, 2022
Rfe sent 65 days ago and still waiting

@PD oct 2021 OHIO field offie i have very contradictory answers for you. Some of my friend from nepal recently got their gc approved and their i485 filing date is jan-feb 2023 and pd is jan 2022

just send service req, all of above ans are worng per country cap is on total eb level and 2nd lc is ur pd date not 485 filing
