case outside of Normal processing time?
my i-129f to California case has been a year waiting I still have no answer I'm wanting to pursue a federal lawsuit against the USCIS. has anybody done this and what was your outcome? if we owe on a fine and we don't pay by a certain date we owe more if there's a court date and we don't show we pay if we owe the IRS and we don't pay they take but what consequences are for them when they don't meet their deadlines?

The waiting sucks, I’m also a year in on my employment based case, but keep in mind they don’t actually have deadlines. The processing times they advertise are based on reporting their actual performance. The first number is the wait time that 50% of the cases processed that month are under. The second number is the one that 93% of the cases processed that month (or now, over the last six months) are under. It allows us an idea of how long we’ll be waiting, and allows those waiting the longest to be identified and to have more (not enough, but more) success in moving their case forward. Hopefully, some of the rules from this past year like 2 year EADs instead of 1 year EADs will help reduce the backlog.
