case moved to local FO…then didn’t?
hi guys!! I talked with Emma two days ago and she said my case had finally moved from NBC to my local field office and is pending there after waiting over 250 days… I talked to Emma/another agent yesterday to ask when it was moved and he said it was still at NBC. I’m so confused, who do I believe? the first person must have seen that it got moved somewhere to say it’s at my local FO? anyone else been in this situation?

Yes I was told the same thing then I got an RFE from NBC. Most likely it was never sent to my local FO per the Emma agent

the 130 stays at NBC and the 485 moves to the field office is how i understand it. could be very wrong

Emma agent told me my case was at the Kansas city. then another agent told me its in local field office, then another agent told me its in Kansas city. I did SR request on both forms and figuered out I-485 is at the local field office while I-130 is at the Kansas City. The field office name and address was there on the top of the response.

my I-130 got approved in June 2022 - sent in the I-485 in September 2022 and that’s what’s been pending since - what’s a SR request @Zhar KS

@real shada did it take long for you to get a RFE from NBC after they told you it moved to the local FO?

@c p same thing happened to me. one told agen told me it’s at FO and I checked multiple times after that and they said NBC. lol they confuse us

They really do lol I’m just confused why the first person said it’s at my local FO, like she must have seen that somewhere to say that?? then the second person was like yeah it’s at NBC still so i don’t know who to believe haha @child of grace

emma agents are a Joke, i was told 5 months ago my case was moved to my local FO, then someone told me it wasn’t, last week I was told it was in Potamac, the 2 days ago that it was in my Local office, JOKE agents working there @c p

i had the same thing happen, they actually know nothing and get confused/ make assumptions i think. i dont think they have access to more info than us in reality
