I have a pending I-751 since nov 2021 . I applied n-400 application in Dec 2022 . USCIS has put case is actively under review for n400 on may 18 . has this happened to anyone . what to expect next ?? the estimated time has gone to 10 months it was 5 months before may 18 ðŸ˜

Hey! I also have an I-751 pending since November 2021, and filed N-400 in February 2023. My N-400 status changed to being actively reviewed after I had my biometrics appointment in March. I think it’s just a common status for N-400 before they schedule an interview. What is your local office? Mine is San Francisco, and I also am looking at about a year of processing time.

Hey Olia . My status changed 2nd time to being actively reviewed for N-400 . they reuse my biometric when I send the case in .the processing time changed to 10 months from 5 months . my local field office is Chicago. do you have idea how long it will take to schedule an interview after status change ?

Wohoo! Congrats :) I hope it goes smoothly! The wait time before interview is scheduled depends on a local office. I know in San Francisco it's somewhere between 4 months and 14 months. I hope I get mine by the end of this year.
