if it’s such a long time in this status it means it’s been stuck somewhere at some point. you should contact uscis and figure out what’s going on with your case. It is not normal

@Anton Br Any tips on actually being able to speak to someone? I have tried and tried with Ask Emma and calling, but have never had any question answered. Just gone round and round with the automated system.

@tigerlilee 23 When I type in live agent a list of topics to choose from pop up and when I click on any of them (I have tried all of then!) it loops me back around to the their online tools again! Every time! It is so frustrating!!!

I typed in "speak to a Representative" and then it worked for me

Thank you everyone. I was actually able to speak to someone, for the first time!! But sadly I was told my case has been transferred to Potomac. which has a year longer processing times. I can not express how devastated I am... I was never notified of any changes, and truly thought that things might happen in the next month or so.

RK I'm so sorry. This happened me in October and it was so devastating. We had planned our move around being nearly approved. So now my husband is in America and I'm here in Ireland. I lost the job that was holding out to early 2022 for me & we are facing financial responsibility we werent prepared for. EG rent here & there in US. It's a lot. 🥺 But there's nothing really we can do about it. We just have to ride the wave

@Orla M Thank you for sharing your experience and for the empathy!! There are so many people who don’t get it... so I appreciate you understanding! I’m sorry that your life plans have been completing turned upside down by all this! it’s very challenging to not be able to do anything... like you said... we can only wait! I hope your case is completed soon and you and your husband can finally be reunited!!
