This is the first time I have heard that. Anyone with similar experience and what was the outcome?

@S B i never heard of this today i saw in case tracker my tier 1 reference was complete. i have no clue when they will send an update. wondering if this will happen to me… if i have to resubmit and inquiry? @S B how many inquiries did you submit

@S B wonder whats the difference with tier 1 and tier 2

@m&m s I called them and asked for live agent and the automated machine says they can’t connect me. so I hung up and called again and said infopass so they connected me to an agent. The first agent said I need to write Uscis vermont center, I hung up again and called this time same infopass and the agent answered and said they can’t provide any info on my case and said my case is under normal processing time so I asked the agent to connect me to tier 2 agent, he created a call back appointment with tier 2 and gave the case number and the phone number they will use to call me in 72 hrs. they did not called me in 72 hrs and called me today. this time the tier 2 officer said she can’t tell anything on the phone due to the confidentiality of the case and told me to go to the local office and ask them the questions or problems with my case.

got an email from Uscis with appointment date and time with case number. I will update with more info tomorrow after the appointment.

tier1 is basic ones who does appointments or provide address, like a coustmer agent who provides little to no information. tier 2 - who has more authority to look up on your case.

@S B okay thank you. good luck. my case has been pending since 2020 i submitted that inquiry with an agent online, my attorney submitted one still no response and i had my local congressman submit one too.. i only see the reference number to the inquiry i submitted through the phone… so idk what going on. mabye i will have to do that.

@S B when i spoke to the agent who submitted my inquiry she said the will het back to me in 1 month. its been 1 month and thats when i saw the update on case tracker today so idk whats going on

@S B its says tier 1 reference number was assigned to an officer, hours later, it said we sent a response….

I guess either you or your attorney can get a mail or email soon with the reason.

@S B its like you dont know what to expect with USCIS. its always something different literally no explanation with how things work i hope god will answer our prayers and we both get answers soon

they will not give you any information. Will tell you that write to VSC . I know girl she made infopass for emergency ead , They didn't even talk to her, they told her, writ to Vermont . if you wondering Status of you case , contact congressperson

@S B pls what number did u call with, I lost my old receipt notice in a flood so do not have my numbers to track my case

@Az Ike 800-375-5283 you need to have a A-number or receipt number for them to verify your records. if you loose your receipts do a foia- freedom of information act to get a copy of your records. you can do it online through Uscis website.

yeah same response like everyone else saying we do not have authority over your case, write to vermont service center because of the confidential case.
