he has to wait till they send the reason. everyone’s case is different and nobody can tell you anything till you see the reason and contact your lawyer if you have one

@Michael A. I am very sorry to hear about the denial. We are with you on this. You will have more information on the denial when you receive the notice. I see you updated in Feb 2024 that your I-360 was approved. Did you ever receive C-31 EAD card after the approval? Because in July this year, you were waiting for your EAD to renew your drivers license so it seems you didn’t receive EAD for I-360 approval. I hope it wasn’t a system glitch.

@Michael A. Okay, the 5 year renewal EAD Card was for I-765 and I-131 (Combo Card). It appears they didn’t issue you C-31 EAD Card in Feb 2024 after I-360 approval. They can’t just deny an approved I-360 like that without issuing Notice of Intent to Revoke. Just put yourself together until you see the denial notice. It maybe something you can challenge easily and win. Please know we are here to support you.

@Michael A. this can really be challenging and frustrating but just keep calm and be hopeful. If I may ask, your vawa was approved in February 2024 right? Did you receive approval letter and EAD C31? I believe if you do, they wouldn’t just deny both 485 and already approved 360. I want to believe they should reach out to you first if they see any unclear thing about your case before final denial. I pray to pull through this.

@Miss M @Stronger This has become a major issue for me. She’s never available to talk to us, but when someone is about to seek her services, she’s available anytime, even by email. Lately, she doesn’t even respond to emails. I’m 100% sure I won’t be using her services again. I was among the first people who employed her to represent me when she was transitioning into VAWA almost five years ago. Now, I don’t believe she cares about her clients anymore I just feel like another case to her. Two years ago, I had to reach out to my representative multiple times just to get my first EAD/AP because when I called the office, all I got was, “USCIS is working on it.” They don’t follow up or question the process on your behalf; they just sit back, while online she portrays herself as this “dancing lawyer.” I’m not here to trash her, but this needs to be said.

@Michael A. 💯 agree with you! I only spoke to her once! paid $17.000 for her to represents me and I swear I only heard her voice once, May of 2021. Then when I called to asked for my EAD renewal, I had to call multiple times and for them to do something I had to end up mentioning legal action against them and there they were. Apologizing and telling me, my combo card was sent since October 2023 (The renewal) and guess when was that? In February!!!! For my expedite request to be sent, I had to fight with them for 2 weeks!!!! When she sent my documents, guess what? The first page wasn’t mine. It was the name and case number for a Nigerian guy! I’m here questioning her professionalism. I’ll be in her comment section since she can’t talk to anyone on the phone but can dance like a birth on instagram.

@Miss M you know, I experience the same document issue in 2022 too my first page was another Michael with a different receipt number. I was even the one who noticed it and emailed all of her staff and cc her as well treating legal issues for being callous with my case and my life . that was when she email me privately to apologize they they will figure it out and address it . I’m tired of her nonsense! very frustrating and unprofessional

@Michael A. to be honest, before you even get to pay another lawyer. Threaten to sue her. Mentioned that the contract was between you and her not you and her paralegals or her customers service representative. And that need to talk to HER. And she needs to fix it and appeal! This is non sense!

I’m tired of even having her as my attorney.. I don’t want to put my life in her hands knowing she’s going be facing a lawsuit. I prefer to have a more experienced attorney that knows exactly what to do rather than guessing.. she’s not reliable enough for me to pick her again even as a pro bono

I only ever spoke to her ONCE! and that was they consultation and I should’ve known from then but I was desperate all she said was ma’am I already told you you have a good case so I don’t know why all the questions! my mother was sick and I tried for months for her to get me a expedited advance parole they never cared to even response, I missed my mothers funeral. they even tried to make me pay twice for filing fees and when I was adamant that I paid it they apologized.

I was the one who mentioned that Wafula Law was handling my case! I expressed my frustration Friday night after I received the denial update, shared my timeline, and explained it multiple times, despite my confusion and frustration. Now you’re asking me for an RFE explanation like I’m your attorney. I have my own struggles to deal with, and with all due respect, I need time to process everything. My mental health is my priority right now, especially after waiting for 4 years and 7 months, only to receive a denial after being told my case was solid and very strong. Get a grip!
