Case Closed?
Hi everyone. My I-765 was approved last week and its status says “card is being produced”. When I check my USCIS account, I now see “case closed” on top of my I-131 application. But I didn’t get any offical update on my advance parole application. It still says “case was received and a receipt notice was sent” under the case status. Seems to be two conflicting information. Did anybody have the same issue?

@Tr tr it’s not approved yet. Similar to I-131, it also says case was received and a receipt notice was sent” for I-130 application also.

you got approved for a combo card. check the document section under ur i765 it’s coming to sa C09 combo card

@G I: Yeah…Same thing happened when my spouse’s EAD got approved on 3/2 after both us and Senator requested expedite processing. The EAD app status changed but AP app still says case was received until now. Senator’s office called and let us know the combo card was approved. Then we received it a little bit more than a week later.

I got the exact same thing and I assumed that they will send solely a work permit. However, once the card arrived I saw that it serves as advance parole. so, it’s basically a combo card. you will most likely get the same

You guys were right. I received the card yesterday and it was indeed the combo card. It took 6 days from the day my application got approved until I received the card in the mail. So it was pretty fast.
