Case approved vs. Case sent to the Department of State
Hi guys! What’s the difference between the USCIS final message says “case approved” (and case closed) or “case sent to the department of state”?
I was kinda expecting the latter one as I’m a consular case and I thought my case would be sent to the NVC.
But I got the “case approved”/case closed.
Does it mean anything specifically?

@Tekle M If you got “Case sent to the departament of state” that means your case was sent to NVC.
If you got only “Case Approved” and nothing else, check your approval notice maybe you have to apply for another form like I-824 for your case to be sent to NVC.
