Case approved! really really happy!
I want to share my victory with you all. It took three years from the start of the process to final activation. I’m so happy! 😁
The I-140 was filed in Feb 2024 and approved in July 2024. The Adjustment of Status for my Priority Date was stalled until Oct 2025; the rest of the timeline is below.
I am grateful to God, and I hope everyone soon gets their long-awaited Green Card.
P.S.: Biometrics were done on Jan 26; I haven't received the EAD.

@Gentleman It was a calm and smooth conversation. The officer was a woman—very polite and helpful. She asked questions about my profession and field of work, as well as questions related to the I-485. I didn't bring my lawyer; it was just the family—myself, my husband, and my 12-year-old daughter.

@Jeah Wildman Do you think the office where the case is handled influences the approval? Are some faster than others?

@Sheila C C I am really not sure, mine says it’s at the Nebraska office. I had a colleague who submitted the same time as us, using the same lawyers and she got RFE in Jan 2026 and approved in May 2026. I am not sure of their tactics.
