@P B Case will be sent to NVC for consular processing BUT if parent already in the U.S you can file i-485 to adjust status

@Dahna B-rightful 🇯🇲 🇺🇸 ❤️ It was sent for processing yesterday. Do I need to do anything after that or just wait for an interview date? Parent is outside the US. I had heard I’d need to file and pay for a Visa number after approval. Is that right?

@P B NVC will send you a "Welcome Letter" (Notice of Visa Creation). In that letter you will get a Case Number and an invoice ID to log onto ceac.gov and to pay the fees. After the fees are processed, you will be able to file DS 260 and upload the civil documents by clicking "Start Now" NVC will send you all the instructions!
