did they ask you for documentations and evidence or did they just approved your expedite request without any evidence
Mrs. IkeSep 21, 2021
@shora y - the first time we requested an expedite, they denied it without requesting any evidence. So we submitted a second request, and within a few weeks of that second request, we received an email requesting evidence, which we promptly submitted by fax on Aug 5. Then, we waited and heard nothing, until active review began on Sep. 16

congratulations

for the second expedite you used the same reason right
ali ySep 21, 2021
i just recently did an expedite request for finicial loss and humanitarian crisis as well and they told me to wait 7 days until I receive a mail or an email either to approve or deny or ask for evidence
Mrs. IkeSep 21, 2021
@shora y - yes, same reason I gave to the Tier 2 officer the first time. I called in both times to initiate the request.
Mrs. IkeSep 21, 2021
@shora y, did they ever have a tier 2 officer call you back? This video really helped me with outlining the reasons for my expedite request: https://youtu.be/ugOOE9BcZ6s
ali ySep 21, 2021
i did it through a livechat and right now i am calling the uscis to make sure it is actually requested
Mrs. IkeSep 21, 2021
@shora y I called them at least once every other week to follow up on the status. it doesn't hurt, because they make mistakes, and things fall between the cracks, which you will never be aware of unless you look into it. Speaking to a Tier 2 helped me too, I think. it took longer than promised, but with patient persistence, it will come through. I remained polite with each person I spoke with, and they were always very apologetic and kind, despite my desperation.
