@Ena 22 I was in your situation but I got approved at the end. my advice to you is just to wait and find out the reason then fixe the issue and filled a motion to reopen. I paid $800 for it

@Ena 22 The i485 can’t get denied directly. They first send you the ‘Notice of Intention to Deny’ that gives you 30 days to give more proof/statements on why it should not be denied. So I am not sure what’s going on with your case but it’s weird.

@Ena 22 I was denied because i didn’t submit my untranslated birth certificate I just submitted the translated one

@Kanye East yea! that’s standard process. but looks like people are getting denials directly if they are missing signatures, or medicals or even birth certificates

It's frustrating situation, but I heard nowadays if they missing signature or medical they are denying case instead of sending RFE, did you submit your medical ?

@r p yes, they send me rfe and I send medicals back. but she asked me three times about signatures being real. I scanned and send my signatures to lawyer who lives in diff state and I told her the same. I am thinking it has to do something with signatures

ask your attorney to reopen file you might get luck

@E S @Chucks chachacha I got the letter. they are claiming that my signature isn’t hard written which isn’t true. I signed it, scanned it and sent it to my lawyer. I even explained that during interview. now I never retained the original as I filed case years ago. I jsut didn’t know I needed to retain original singed paper. I am trying to work with lawyer to appeal and refile at the same time.

oh yes I heard it need to be the original copy signed, it’s on the I-485 instructions am surprised your attorney didn’t pay attention to that sorry you had to go through this

@Ena 22 your attorney should have known better. You stand a chance still, don’t loose hope. I’ll suggest you get a local attorney and proceed accordingly
