@mary gij after the fpu lagos interview my status change from refuse to ready and I was mailed to submit my international passport after submitting my international passport today makes it 2 weeks I submitted my passport and I got another mail saying my case has been sent back to the USCIS for revocation but my international passport still in their possession. What can I do from here now to get my passport back

@Black Sheep tbh that’s weird if they asked u to submit ur passport n than revoke it…i would try reaching out to USCIS…is ur wife American? if yes, what state does she live in?

@Mary gij your guess is as good as mine , I was wondering why revoke and my status still showing Ready even after sending me letters of revoked, my wife is a US citizen and from OR states , we are both confused right now but that not going to ruine our Valentine celebration and our passport has not yet been returned still in their custody hoping to get another email to come pick them up since refused they shouldn’t hold on to the passport until USCIS get back to us

@Black Sheep wait they took both of your passports? our attorney is working on it, the attorney filed a motion because there is no clear cut reason as to why they rovoke his visa approval and held his passport for over a yr. I just find it odd that they would approve ppl that have a 30 yr age gap lol….man I’m pissed and tired this has really messed us up

ur welcome n yes they held his passport since his 1st interview in 2023 n emailed us in 2024 for a 2nd interview n never recd a response for over 3 mths reached out to our atty which no help so we decided to file madamus lawsuit so while in nigeria this yr they sent me an email saying his passport was ready for pickup which did n there was no visa inside n gave us a revocation letter…how did u misrepresent? consult with an atty for sure

@Mary gij …..I don’t understand how we misrepresented any materials of fact but we receive a letter saying our case has been returned back to USCIS and the eye will give us a letter usually NOIR/NOID with an opportunity to respond , I want to ask you were you given a letter of NOIR/NOID and did you respond ??

@Black Sheep ok that’s weird n yes we did respond they gave us some bogus excuse saying “Information provided in the case and interview indicated that the beneficiary does not meet the qualifications for the visa class.” these ppl even asked for information they already had on file basically stalling

@Black Sheep did your letter have NOIR/NOID on it? it also stated that it was refused under 221G which our status been saying before we got the letter

@Black Sheep sorry it’s a revocation letter that denial is bullshit we answered everything correctly for the most part showing that our marriage is legit

@Mary gij a week after our second interview this year my status change from refuse to ready and that same week I was ask to submit my international passport , it’s going to be 3 weeks this week I submitted but since last week I received a letter saying I have been refuse under 221g with a recommendation to revoke that USCIS will email me and give me the opportunity to respond , so we are waiting for USCIS email now to read why it was visa refused and the opportunity to respond

@Black Sheep u definitely need to get an atty to file a motion or appeal cuz now they wanna have USCIS look over the case again and send it back to the embassy which could mths again…lets see if USCIS calls

@Mary gij yesterday I officially got the revocation letter from the embassy and I check on my status is still showing READY instead of refused the reason for revocation was fraud/misrepresentation, so we have to wait for USCIS to get back to us with NOID/NOIR to state what exactly we misrepresented and give us the opportunity to respond, I can’t wait to see what was misrepresented

thank you @mary gij , there is nothing to be done since we were sent back to USCIS for revocation on the ground of misrepresentation , I connected USCIS Emma and the rep advices that we have to wait until USCIS send us a notification about the revocation before we know what’s next to do, so at this point now our faith is just hanging until we get a USCIS notification and it’s already 1 month past now , thank you for checking and I will like for us to keep in touch just like you have done to share ideas

my case status situation is showing READY like I have never been interviewed meanwhile I have been interviewed 2 times infact it was updated febuary 27

@Black Sheep wow wow sorry to hear that…is your spouse looking to get an atty? cause waiting is not an option at least for me it wouldn’t be…as far as our case goes we’re waiting for case to be returned to USCIS as well the people who we filed the lawsuit against has until 4/21 to respond…our atty sent them a very detail amendment…hopefully they just approve his visa or they ask for addt’l proof which we have

no we are not looking to get an attorney, she is looking to visit Nigeria once again infact next month April but we looking to send in an enquiry into the USCIS to know if they receive correspondence from the embassy Consulate and asking to know the reason we were placed on fraud or for them to write or spell out the fraud or misrepresentation in our petition to us or for us to defend our petition
