@S M I’m also going to be interviewing in Montreal. My friend just went through it and she said it’s about 2-3 months to receive IL

@Kristen B that’s helpful, thank you! did she say it took 2-3 months to get the date or for the actual interview to happen? what stage are you at?

@S M No worries! She received her letter mid May and it was scheduled for the end of July so in total you can expect your interview to take place about 4-5 months after DQ I’m about 300 days into my I-130 so still at USCIS 😩

@Kristen B okay this is all really good to know! what service centre are you at? fingers crossed you’re approved soon! we just submitted all of our documents to NVC on Friday so still a bit to go

@S M 🥰 I’m at Vermont really hoping to see an approval notice by the end of October. I miss my husband. We were lucky enough to spend the summer together but won’t see each other again until December :(

@Kristen B did you end up getting your approval??

@S M I did but they smacked me with an I-824 for failure to select consular processing. We knew that error was made back in February and did the typographical error request which they responded to and said it would be fixed upon adjudication. It was not, so we are fighting the I-824 🙃 Always one more thing

hey @torey gilm no I haven’t, today marks two months since we were DQ so I think it’ll be another couple of weeks or so based on what I’ve been reading. What stage are you at?

@S M I’ve expedited at the NVC portion but have not received my interview date yet. it’s been 3 weeks since our expedite was approved.

just got my interview letter today for a December 5th interview!
