Canada tourist visa - Combo Card
has anyone travelled to canada on a tourist from the USA using the combo card? In the visa application, did you put No for “currently have a valid non immigrant visa” and No for “currently have a valid green card” ?
thank you

I am not sure what kind of options that you have there, but AP are only for work authorization and travel document related to US. It has nothing to do with your Canada visit. You need to get your Canadian Visa at the nearest consulate of your area and maybe you can use your Advance Parole to re-enter US.

yes but they ask about your current status in the united states (whether u are on a non immigrant visa or on a greencard). At this time I am on neither of these 2. I have a valid EAD and AP.

AP isn’t a valid status. Leave the Canada travel if possible till you get your Greencard

Oh, that’s a tricky one. I went literally lay Saturday but besides waiting on the GC we also still have our L visa (so I was able to check non-immigrant visa). I would definitely check with a lawyer beforehand. I know they adviced us to not travel “for fun” too much while on AP if we don’t have the GC yet.

If you have a pending AOS with no other underlying status you’re just an AOS applicant. I travelled to Canada with a work visa as a dependent while my I-485 was pending. and I used my combo card to re-enter. I don’t recall what the attorney checked in the app. But when I came back I was paroled based on AOS without any issues. Seek for some legal advices if you’re not sure.
