@S M, it will take like 2-3 weeks before u can the notice letter from uscis with a new case #. i also applied for my new in January but still waiting for my EAD.

sometimes if you have to work and can prove it, you can ask them to expedite it. I waited for 8 months after filling and requested to expedite my EAD.

why are u filing a I-751 when u haven’t received ur GC yet?. the application is to remove conditions on ur existing 2yr green card

I think @Kenneth Ugo is taking about I-765 ( work authorization ) and @S M @dream chaser are referring to I-751 ( remove conditions of a permanent resident)

@dream chaser Kenneth just started his initial process with the forms I-765 and the request for a green card I already have a green card that I got 2 years ago and I am applying to remove conditions hence my post above asking for someone going through the same thing

Hello there! Did you mail your package to their PO Box at Carol Stream IL? I mailed my I-751 there. Delivered on March 11. I haven't heard from them so far.

We are in the same boat, sent mine on the 14th of march. Delivered today. So its a waiting game now.

@Moe K the worst 😩😩 I did the paper work by myself so my anxiety level is reaching the heavens but I got a text saying they received my application today and gave me the case number so it means they accepted my application and I filled it correctly. good luck to us all.

I was a hot mess thinking it was getting rejected since I did everything in like 3-4days . sometimes they forward it to a different facility so until you hear something just wait. Most people told me you won’t hear anything for 2-3 weeks so just wait. my case number begins with IOE092480…..

you are welcome. also just so you know even if ( and that is the worst case scenario) If it gets rejected then you can easily fix and send it back but don’t go that far unless you are 💯 sure your application is rejected this is what mine says as well Your item has been delivered and is available at a PO Box at 7:30 pm on March 13, 2024 in CAROL STREAM, IL 60197.

or did you try going to your MyUSCIS and see if they sent any document stating if your paper work was rejected? or something else

@S M it was an IOE as well, saw the documents online for Biometrics reuse and 48 months extension. but haven’t received the physical one yet

@S M just be careful, u can’t travel without the orginal green thick one :)

ohhh and IOE case’s take on avg of 8 to 12 months so fingers crossed

@S M Yes. It says Delivered on USPS. I have Informed Delivery. It hasn't shown anything yet. There's nothing related to my application in my USCIS account.

@S M I finally got my case number. It took 21 days for them to process the fee waiver for my I-751. Today the case showed up in my online account.
