Can I withdraw N400 application
I seriously think that my I751 is getting delayed even more because of my concurrent N400 application and USCiS will cite a combo interview to drag this out longer . I don’t really care about N400 and just want that I751 approved for 10 years so my family and I have a sense of stability . I see folks in other service centers who applied 1.5 years after me already get approved . So to that how can I withdraw my N400 application and just keep my I751?

@DJ B Has your I-751 been transferred from Potomac? if no then you will get approved next month or June. Potomac is approving a flurry of cases from December 2020 right now. I personally saw 4 cases from December 2020 approved today.

hey! quick one, I’d apply for i751, in 2 December 2020, and my case was at Potomac center, biometric done twice but still pending. in august 2022 I’d apply for N400, in march 2023, I was scheduled for and interviewed my interview was today and I passed but according to the officer he said they will request for the i751 and in about 2 weeks I’ll receive oath ceremony letter in the mail. my advice to you’ is don’t cancel your n400.

just wait! I know it’s frustrating 🙄however please follow your heart… good luck in advance.

@Rocco Forté Yes it was transferred to NBC from Potomac . If it had just stayed with Potomac for i751 it might have been approved by now . But I think NBC will do combo interview and I expect the wait to go beyond 28 months now ( already at 27.5 months) . I don’t really care about citizenship . I just did it because lawyer said it will help speed up process but instead it slowed down the process .

@Ola Olla Thank you . I hope they speed it up. I just want to get done with the I751 and don’t really care about N400. If it happens so be it but it just makes it slower and more complicated .

@DJ B I agree with @Ola Olla and @moe still Do not withdraw the N-400, it won’t do any good for your I-751 because it has already been transferred. Just wait and get this over with. I dare say, if you withdraw that N-400 it will further complicate your case.

thank you for the information. before my interview, I was curious” so I asked Emma and talked to live Agent and the live Agent told me that my case was still at Potomac center, however our case might be different.
