can I receive travel document before i130 approved ?
hello is it normal to receive a travel document before i130 approve?
a friend is telling me I might receive green card in mail instead of travel document because I can’t receive a travel document without i130 being approve😫

No it’s not true. Filing of 131 has purpose you to travel while your petition get processed, but wait till you have your AP.

Not true , that’s the whole purpose of asking for AP to be able to travel while the application still pending for green card !
