Can I file K3 while i-130 is being actively reviewed?
I have been seeing alot of people filing for a K3 visa along with I-130
My husband is in Jordan, and we filed for a marriage based green card in dec 29th 2021.
Will filing for a K3 visa affect the processing time of the i-130? will it cause it to be delayed?
And how much does it cost to file a K3 visa? and Can I file it online?

it doesn’t affect the processing time of the I-130 but if the I-129f is approved first, then that application will be transferred to department of state for further processing.

@jdjsj do you know if the K3 application will be processed at the same service center as the I-130?

K3 can’t be filed online … if your a US citizen filing a K3 is free just download the paperwork and fill it out and send to your nearest drop box location … if your not a US citizen the filing fee is $535

@K Cole, they’ll treat/ process your K3 application at the same SC as the I-130. At least, mine is been processed at the same location.

I applied for my I-130 in March 2021 and then turned in my I-129f/K3 application in Feb 2022. If I’d known that I could file them together, I’m pretty sure by now the K3 would have been approved. All they’ll do is to cancel the I-130 application and notify me.

@LoveHeals. Have they approved your I-130? The K3 doesn’t gurantee approval of CR1 it’s just luck for some people. Didn’t work for us

@Anett, no they will not cancel your I-130… but once they approve one, they’ll cancel the other. They can’t approve both
