can I file I-485 by myself
my EB1 petition was approved few days back and now I am planning for next stage which would be so-485 once PD becomes current for me. Are most people here filing there I-485 through an attorney or on your own. Is it a simple enough process to do it on my own?

If I can afford I would hire an experienced attorney for filing I-485. I would not risk.

@K S you can fill out and file by yourself if you feel comfortable with filing legal documents. I'm in finance I have a lot of experience in filing out reports, reviewing contracts so it's easy for me to understand uscis forms.

I used simple citizen. File before prices go up in a month.

you can do it by yourself I used immigration people to do mine and I did all the hard work cause I had to answer some questions
