Can I apply for I-131 with pending AOS ?
I have pending AOS married to US Citizen. Filed AOS on August 2020 but did not file Travel Document because my lawyer said I was overstated my visa and can not get travel document even I’ve married to US Citizen. my case seems taking long and want to apply for I-131. can I do it know and how ?

of course you can. You should have applied for I-765 and I-131 together for free. They would send you a combo card for work and travel.

also I have completed my interview and officer recommended for approval but since she is new officer I don’t think I will get update anytime soon. that is the reason I want to apply for travel document now. if I apply now does not it effect to my completed interview decision ?

I applied for my I-131 after i485 and i765. it was really easy and you don’t have to pay if you include your i485 receipt notice. it’s worth a shot but I imagine your gc will be issued before your AP

I don’t what he meant by overstaying your visa. because I married a month after my 6 months and I applied for everything at once.
