CAN I APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP YET ?? I NEED ANSWERS PLZZZ
I got married in September 2020 and I got my 10 years green card in December 2022 and I am still married to my US CITIZEN wife. I am asking if I qualify to apply for Citizenship yet or do I have to wait till I have been a permanent resident for 3 years ?

you send your citizenship after 2 years, one of my friend got her green card for 2 year and when it was time to renew she sent her citizenship and it was approved

@Jessie Maille does that mean I can go ahead and apply for citizenship? I was approved for a 10 years green card straight away. I didn’t initially have a 2 year green card. I was approved right away for a 10 years which was in December 2022. I hope I am making sense to you . can I go ahead to apply ?

you have to wait for 3 years after you got your green card. I am in the same situation like you

you can file for citizenship 90 days before the 3 years

90 days before 3 years after you received your first greencard. there is an elegibility tool on uscis website, you can check it

thanks y’all for this information. since I got my first ever green card in December 2022, then I will have to wait till December 2025 to apply for citizenship . if I understood correctly.
