@White Eagle my mom got RFE in October 2023. it is still stuck at it and showing pending 11 months. if your parent RFE was related to medical it should come soon. mine was related to 864 but it was straight forward asking last year tax return that I submitted but they may got it misplaced. I submitted the RFE online in 2 days as it said I could do online OR mail. I thought online should be quicker and safer else why would the whole online system start if it is not better n efficient. 130 and 131 came long back. Now my mom is traveling on AP due to her overdue medical issues which is scary if you read about but what to do? 11 months with no update on RFE is joke. our field office has an average processing time of 18 months for 485. so everytime we contact USCIS they have same reply” it is under normal processing times”

@jyo bat RFE was related to criminal clear record because of finger print wasn’t clear.

@White Eagle let’s be hopeful, there is no timeline logic that works. RFE delays the process that we know but it is all random based on location n officer.

got the approval for I485 today thank god!!
