Can a greencard holder bring their spouse over and live with them during processing?
i am a greencard holder and I want to bring my fiancé over. We are due to get married next month. He has a B2 tourist visa. Can he adjust his status here? or does he have to head straight back to the UK and go through the UK consulate? Can he come and visit me? This long distance will be so hard! What’s the timeline to bring him over? Can anyone share their experiences please?

if you got the means to support him being here while changing his status and stuff. go for it.
like either you guys get married and he stays here, you support him for the time being until everything is being worked on.
or you get married he leaves to the UK and applies for a visa from there… consular procedures actually are much quicker (at least from the experience my friends have done aka military might be different).
long distance can be managed if true love is involved. the process is a waiting game no matter what. good luck to you and a wonderful and blissful marriage to you two :)

b2 is non immigrant visa
when you do AOS you have to show immigration officer that when you’re on B2 you don’t have intentions to stay..

I think she can stay as soon as she is not under status and maintain her status.
