CALL CALL CALL be polite but aggressive with your case
I DO NOT CARE what anyone said I was aggressive with my case. My senator was a HUGE HELP for me though. I live in Illinois and they really push my case but I call USCIS every single month until they even issued me a letter stating “ due to reason not relating to my case they are experiencing delays” I didn’t care I still call and followed up. Like I said even though my ex husband was a US Citizen I didn’t file concurrently. I had to wait 3 years until my VAWA was approved. ( filed July 2021 approved July 2024) once approved I submitted my I485 along with my medicals in September 2024. After that the game was on cause I didn’t want to wait another long time for my I485, however it was approved on valentine day. I had a really strong case though my ex was physically abusive, I had abuse pictures, police report, witness statement plus restraining order. To all my people DONT GIVE your time will come. 🙏

@waiting 🥹 you will need to Google the senator or congressman office who is near you. it’s a standard number for USCIS when you call that number you need to say “info pass” so the system transfer you to a live agent

@Chris sing call 1-800-375-5283 and when the automated machine comes on make sure to say “info pass” so it transfer you to a live agent

I contacted my Senator, Congress man, I called USCIS every time their response is you can work using your work permit. no luck

@Chucks chachacha I called the office and they told me to come in so I can provide some information and they would reach out to USCIS on my behalf. Within 30 days USCIS reach out to them.
