Dear Lawfully,
I had my I-765 approved today. I’m happy and excited because I’ll be able to work lawfully. I have a question about the expiration day for an initial EAD—how ling is it valid for?

@aym Der it was about 151 days after USCIS received my I589! it took 22 days to get it approved, I think it’s just luck on the approval times. I think they reused my biometrics taken like 10 years ago but if you need them taken I think it will be more time

the USCIS website says it takes approximately 3-6 months to be processed

you applied for EAD before the 150 days it shows here that it was 134 after submission of your i589 application

@Eve eve eva girl I don’t know my lawyer was the one handling all paperwork and he’s the one who submitted everything so I think they just put it on hold or something…
