received C31 EAD with 2 yrs validity only. is that the case you too? my recent EAD renewal is 5yrs validity.

@gps . I also got 2yrs validity for Ead C31 when my vawa was also approved in July 2024 and C09 ead renewal with 2 yrs validity when approved in Aug 2023.
Regarding i485, can’t say they don’t follow the timeline they set but I noticed some pple are getting approved a month after submitting their RFE (medical) or when USCIS claims they received them.
You shld receive updates in you i485 in this order: They transfer your case to another office that has jurisdiction over your case - Medical RFE if needed - Interview/or no interview - Approval.

my I485 has been transferred to another office since may 2022, and I had sent my medical along with my vawa application, but guess it’s not valid more than 2 years.

i heard that when uscis don’t transfer u case and ask for medical this means that u don’t will have interview, idk if it’s true or not.

@gps . I did submit my medical too and I applied August 29.22 they didn’t request anything else as yet so I’m thinking that even though it expired they still using it lol
