Birth certificate must be notarized?? mine has English on it. HELP
Help.
Got a request for evidence, it’s asking for a copy of my birth certificate, which I did include one in my application submitted.
Although, my birth certificate was not notarized, but, it’s in both English and Chinese. Do I still need to have it notarized?! isn’t the whole point of that is to have it in English? The birth certificate is legal already. It will take a long time and very complicated for me to get it notarized. worried that if they will deny my case cuz of it. 😫😫😫😫

it's pretty common to get RFE on birth certificate. I did got mine too.
just send your birth certificate again. also include the letter mention "this is your official birth certificate".

mine was English and filipino and not notarized. however I don’t received RFE and got approved.

get affidavit from government institution in your country stating where you was born. including your parents names, year you was born etc…then resend with the current birth certificate
