it does not matter if you have the birth record number and the date it got filed on the birth certificate. for example you hold a duplicate of certificate of birth issued in 2020, but it should state the date when your parents filed for the initial certificate the date is normally very close to your birth date.

@A N thank you for your comment. my question is that if it is ok to use the birth certificate that was issued by the city hall in 2020, not when it was filed. it takes time to request and send it to the US from my home country so I want to use the one i already have, that was issued in 2020.
